Mall Trip....Whaaa??

The Adventures of Colleen and Ashley

Today Colleen and I went to the Mall, another friend was suppose to come but he could not. :( Well we did have fun! We traveled the whole mall talking and goofing off. Our first stop was the food court because it was lunch time so we decided to eat yummy Chinese food (the guy at the counter was funny!). Man, that food was awesome...for food court food. Hehehehe. Well her parents gave us 10 dollars for lunch, I ended up using some of my money to pay for the meal. Silly us.

Then we headed to JC Penny's to look at clothes and shoes...in the middle of our adventure Col decides it is a good idea to sit down in the middle of the store and put on make-up...silly her. We looked at cool items like lamps, blankets, pillows, beds, etc. It made me wish I was out on my own with an apartment. Sigh.

Well then we explored the mall which included entering the cave know as Victoria Secret! It was very scary in there...and 12 year olds in that store made it more frightening. :/ We ended up leaving it quickly. Hehe. We entered another store where we were yelled at for taking a picture of Colleen with sunglasses on....though if I showed that picture to anyone it would be free advertisement, but okay, we left that store in a hurry haha.

Then came Starbucks!! YES!!! Oh we both got a large Caramel Frappuccino!! Yum. So we sat around drinking the yumminess and talking about stories I would like to write, her family, the excitement of becoming an aunt sometime in the future, the awesome culture that deaf people have (there was a group visiting the mall and it just made us excited!), friends, getting ready for school, and the future. It was nice to sit there for about 2 hours just talking and watching people...is it weird to enjoy watching people walk around? We find it interesting to guess what their names may be (we named the people we saw :) ) and to just see all the differences in each person. IT IS PERFECTLY NORMAL!!!....for us crazies I guess. Haha. I wanted to buy this awesome little Jewelry box but it was over my price limit so I ended up buying three cute headbands for myself. :) :)

The jewelry box I wanted. :(
Afterwards we visited a friend of Col's family for a quick few minutes before heading to her aunts house, which was very exciting because I met her aunt at Colleen's birthday party a few weeks ago and she is so entertaining and funny. Colleen's cousin was there and oh man is she funny!!! Their house was amazing and their kitty was so cute!!! At that moment I wish I was part of Colleen's family and in a way that may happen if I keep going on trips with her and visiting her relatives. :) Oh man it was just an awesome day.

"Project Clean the Room of Ashley Before Monday Secret Classified Project of Cleanliness Addition 3984349A Part 2 Episode 1"

Here are the pictures of the 5 day struggle.

The start of the project. (Everything in my closet was

pulled into my room) And there is a muffin on the

bed because that was my breakfast!

Peanut was sleeping on my jeans in my closet. :3 Silly Kitty

Getting close to finishing!

This is my desk that is now returned to me. :)

This is the far corner of my room finished

It is that time of year

It is the end of summer and the beginning of a new school year, and it is a pretty busy and stressful time. This is true for me. I was very upset by the fact that three of the classes I wanted to take most were offered at the same time so I could only pick one. I chose to change AP Physics to regular physics and drop AP Bio, leaving me to take Drivers ed; which is free this year and during school. However, there was no room for my art class making me very sad. :( It took many emails, phone calls and visits to my school (which is under construction still) to fix other issues with my schedule. My school is just...stupid. To add to my stress, I am in the process of applying to college...let's not get too far into that. :(

Another conflict is the issue with money. This year I am finally a senior, however that means senior pictures which cost an awful lot of money, along with getting my hair cut, school supplies, and clothes the amount just racks up. I have yet to go shopping for my clothes but I know my mother is not looking forwards to paying for it. And I would love to pay for some of it if I would just hear back from the three jobs I applied to about 3 weeks ago!!!! I need a job. -___-'

On the bright side, I have been running errands for my mother allowing me time to drive and get my hours in so that I can get my license. My friend, Colleen, has taking me on plenty of her own errands which is very entertaining for me. Her family dynamics are very different from my own so it is interesting to watch her "fight" with her mother (really it is more like loving banter). Her mother is more strict than my own, and more careful with money, but can be just as crazy as my own loving mother making it strange to see differences and similarities between them.

As part of getting ready for the school year I reorganized my room by giving away half of the clothes I owned, throwing away 6 garbage bags full of junk, and another bag of things that I no longer wanted and gave it to my grandmother to sell at her yard sale. I moved around everything in my room and brought in a desk that used to be mine when I was younger but that was before my parents took it away to use for the family computer which no longer exists to it is mine again. Yay me! I plan on painting one of my walls red using the left over paint that was used in my living room, and adding more to my "Art Wall". While doing this project which I aptly named "Project Clean the Room of Ashley Before Monday Secret Classified Project of Cleanliness Addition 3984349A Part 2 Episode 1" Though it did not get done before the Monday that I wanted it to, it did get done...it tooks about 5 days. I will post pictures of this adventure soon enough. :)
